Climax — the signature ride
The Climax is Waterbom's flagship: a near-vertical drop through a closed tunnel that sends you from 0 to 70km/h in seconds. Riders must be over 12 years old and 130cm tall. Expect a 20–40 minute queue on busy days — ride it first thing when the park opens.
FlowRider Surf Simulator
The FlowRider is a permanent-wave surf simulator that lets you bodyboard or stand-up surf on an artificial wave. Instructors are on hand, and sessions are booked at the gate. Popular with all ages — no previous surfing experience required for bodyboarding.
Python — group tube ride
The Python is a giant multi-person tube ride that sends 2–5 people through a coiling tunnel of twists. One of the park's most family-friendly thrill rides, with a decent enough drop to get everyone screaming.
Smash Down — free fall
The Smash Down is a near-vertical free-fall capsule where the floor drops beneath you. Not for the faint-hearted — but over in about 3 seconds, which helps.
Lazy River
The lazy river winds through the park's tropical gardens. It is 200 metres long and is the best way to see the entire layout of the park from the water. Available throughout the day with no queues.
