Points of Interest at Bali Zoo

Breakfast with Orangutans

One of the absolute best things to do at Bali Zoo is to have breakfast with orangutans. It takes place every morning from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the zoo's onsite restaurant. You are treated to morning coffee or tea, followed by a hearty breakfast of local Balinese and international delicacies β€” all while these mighty creatures hang out nearby, playing and dancing around.

Elephant Mud Bath & Expedition

At the Bali Elephant Sanctuary within the zoo, you can get up close and personal with these gentle giants, playing with them, feeding them, and bathing them in a huge mud pond. This activity also includes a 20-minute elephant ride along the lush trails within the zoo, and a delicious lunch. Three sessions are held daily: 07:30–13:00, 10:30–15:00, and 14:00–18:00.
